So... yeah. Sticking everything in a database? Not so easy as it looks... oh well. Guess that just means this thing will be that much messier. Nothing wrong with that, right? I mean, messes are... well... mess-like.

Suddenly I realise just how utterly annoying it is to write out html and such... but soon. Soon the mongoose will rise. Soon all this shall be stuck in the disorderly tables of mongoose. The PHP shall connect. It shall all be rendered accordingly. Sooooon!
Soon as I sort out this MySQL thing.

Seriously, though, I have no idea how people could maintain comics and whatnot without a good database. Makes everything so much simpler. Certainly helps rule out the possibility of, say, a missing 'next' link... I was trying to read through an archive of one comic I rather adore lately and suddenly I got to a page with no next. It wasn't the end; it just didn't have a next. Peculiar.
But anyhoo, soon this shall all... have some sort of sense. I'll migrate the hard coded to the tables as I go, and it shall be... mongoosey!
(Er, that's the name of the database. Mongoose. *shifty eyes*)

On the other hand, I also cannot understand why people use word processors... all the things do is eat CPU time and add junk between the lines. Yet the things are so popular...
